FLOWERS IN FABRICS AND GARMENTS

In the Ottoman world, men and women used flowers and floral motifs as personal adornment. Ottoman men wore robes tailored from fabrics with floral patterns. The most popular flowers found on Ottoman period fabrics were tulips, hyancinths, roses and carnations.
