Gülay Alpay graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1989. She completed her master′s degree at her alma mater in 1992. She has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Currently, she continues her work in Istanbul.
