Funda Özkan was born in 1965. She graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning in the Faculty of Architecture at Middle East Technical University in 1988. She set up the Atölye Çamurdan in Ankara with her sister Tuğba Ülker to give live to clay in 1993. She has exhibited her works in many exhibitions and contests. In 2009, Özkan had the exhibition “Seyr 2009 Ceramic Show” with Tuğba Ülker at Istanbul Gallery G-art. The entirety of the proceeds of the gallery was donated to Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV).
