Yakut Ayverdi was born in Istanbul. She studied art at Braunschweig Fine Arts College in Germany. After painting for a long time, she concentrated on sculpture making with İrfan Korkmazlar. She is one of leading sculptors and mentioned frequently in international art platforms with her designs. Ayverdi is one of the artists of Pera Art Gallery.
