Seyhun Topuz

Seyhun Topuz graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture in 1971. Between 1974 and 1978 she became the Basic Art Education assistant at the same academy. She finished her proficiency research in 1977. She continued her research in New York between the years of 1978-1980 and 1983-1984. Between 1978 and 1980 she worked with the sculptor Jose de Creet in the Art Students League. She continues to do freelance work in Istanbul. She has had 8 solo exhibitions and participated in 25 group exhibitions as well. Topuz is the winner of 4 awards including "the Aydın Doğan Award 2008".
