Art Profile	:	Ayşe Müfide Aksoy was born in Istanbul in 1954. She studied sculpture at Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts from 1971 to 1977. Since 1976 she has held her solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey. Aksoy currently continues her work at her workshop in Istanbul and teaches as an tutor at the Faculty of Architecture of Istanbul Kültür University.
