Cemil Güç was born in Istanbul in 1974. He graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. In 2001, he attended the Heracles Sculpture Public Workshop at the Alanya Museum. In the same year, he created sculptures for the Alanya Justinian Club. In 2002, Güç created sculptures for the Alanya Club Park Conti. In 2003, he worked with Ziyatin Nuriev at the Istanbul International Marble Sculpture Symposium. In the same year, Güç participated in a Summer Academy which was held by the International Academy of Marmaris. He made a statue of Hüseyin Avni Ulaş for the Erzurum City in 2007. Güç has participated in several sculpture symposiums such as Afyonkarahisar Marble Sculpture Symposium (2005), 1st Haluk Tezonar National Sculpture Symposium (2007) and 2nd Beşiktaş International Sculpture Symposium (2009). He has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. Currently, Güç continues to work at his own studio in Istanbul.
