Niko Guido

Niko Guido was born in Istanbul in 1966. He graduated from Galatasaray High School and the School of Engineering at Bosphorus University. He started his career in the tourism sector and became a manager. After that, he started and operated a chain of shops. He lived in France for several years and eventually settled in Izmir in 1998. Guido gave up his business and became a professional photographer. He has had solo exhibitions in Venice and Istanbul. His photographs have been published in many newspapers, books and magazines. In recent years, Guido has focused on taking documentary pictures.
