Nazan Kuşçu was born in Ankara in 1952. She studied with Mlle Poncelet at Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts, Paris between 1973 and 1975. She worked at Istasyon Art House (Interior Decoration) and studied with Ömer Düzenli, Tarık Babayiğit and Selçuk Fergökçe. She worked with Yusuf Taktak between 2000 and 2001. She organized seminars on the “History of Art, Archaeology and Mythology in Ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine Era” with Asst. Prof. Mehmet İhsan Tunay. She is a member of UPSD association. Her works can be seen in FWV Işık University, Istanbul Kültür University, IMOGA (Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts) and other private collections in Turkey and abroad such as Istanbul, Bodrum, Antalya, Antakya, Paris, Washington DC, Chicago, New York, Montreal, Lausanne, Munich and Milano. Kuşçu has been continuing to work with Professor, Süleyman Saim Tekcan.
