Hale Karaçelik was born in Ercincan in 1953. After finishing at Istanbul Mecidiyeköy High School, she entered the State Academy of Fine Arts. She also attended design class and creation class. Between 1992 and 2000, Karaçelik studied painting at the workshop of Saim Onan and of Ünsal Toker. Since 2000, she has been working at her own workshop.
