Seda Hepsev was born in Istanbul in 1978. She finished Haydarpaşa High School. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 2000. She then completed her master’s degree at Faculty of Art and Design at Yıldız Technical University in 2004. In 2005, she attended Art Dulcinium in Ulcinj, Montenegro. In 2006, Hepsev participated in the Collaborations on Site” workshop in Helsinki. Between August and December 2006, she attended the International Exchange Program, which was organized by Pro Helvetia, Christoph Merian Foundation AAB, in Basel, Switzerland. In 2008, she participated in Fiskars Artist Residence Program in Helsinki, Finland. Hepsev has held many solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions and workshops in Turkey and abroad. Currently, she continues her doctoral degree and teaches as Research Assistant at the Faculty of Arts and Design of Yıldız Technical University.
