Fatih Mika was born in Istanbul in 1956. He studied at the Philosophy Department in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University, but he discontinued and went to Yugoslavia, where he studied at the Gravure Department in the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts. He pursued his study on gravure techniques at Roma Academy of Fine Arts from 2008 to 2011. Mika has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Mika currently teachs at Foggia Academy of Fine Arts.
