Şükran Demirkan

Şükran Demirkan was born in Çayeli, Rize in 1972. She graduated from an open university. She has taught as a skilled weaving teacher at the Çayeli Public Educational Center for the past 11 years: she taught handicrafts for 5 years and has been teaching the Feretiko weaving (Rize Bezi) in the past 6 years. In addition to it, Demirkan continues to weave her products at home.
