Seyit Ahmet Bursalı

Seyit Ahmet Bursalı was born in Istanbul in 1966. He graduated from Sarıyer İmam Hatip High School. He learned calligraphy from his father and poet and writer Mustafa Necati Bursalı, who learned calligraphy from the prominent calligrapher Hamit Aytaç. In 2002 Bursalı learned calligraphy rik′a, nesih, and sülüs scripts from the well-renowned calligrapher Hasan Çelebi, and received a professional license in 2008. He participated in a group exhibition, which was held in Kartal on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the death of Hamid Aytaç. Bursalı currently continues his works in Istanbul.
