Muhammet İsmail Tirkeş

Muhammet İsmail Tirkeş was born in Istanbul in 1962. In 2001, he started learning the art of ebru from renowned artists, such as Fuat Başar and Alparslan Babaoğlu, and later received professional licenses from them. Tirkeş has participated in handicraft festivals, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2005 and 2007, the Ab-î Hayatî Group Ebru Exhibition in Istanbul in 2008. Additionally, Tirkeş participated in the Traditional Altıneller Handicraft Festival, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Istanbul in 2009. Currently, Tirkeş is continuing his ebru at his workshop.
