Metin Işıkçı was born in Bursa in 1960. He left the Painting Department of the Education Institute at Uludağ University when he was in the second grade. He has been making miniature and decorative arts for 24 years at home. In 2003, Işıkcı received the title of State Artist. In 2006, he was entitled for a professional prize. |
