İsmail Dündar

İsmail Dündar was born in Istanbul in 1954. After studying painting techniques, he founded a workshop to produce machines. Dündar learned marbling art from Tülay Taslacıoğlu at the Caferağa Medresesi Culture Center between 1991 and 1995. After obtaining his professional license from Taslacıoğlu, Dündar concentrated on making marbling art, and founded his workshop. He has taught marbling art at various classes, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 2002, Dündar moved his workshop to Bakırköy, and named it “Suyüzü”. Currently, he continues to work at his workshop in Istanbul.
