Ayşe Durak was born in Bursa, Keles in 1966. She makes traditional Keles costumes and accessories when she has a time from working in the fields: she weaves textiles and woolen embroidered socks as well as çarpana bands. Durak also makes dolls with their traditional local costumes. |
