Nida Ateş

Nida Ateş was born in Istanbul in 1970. He graduated from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Dokuz Eylül University in 1991. He learned to play bağlama and sing Turkish folk song from his father and minstrel Sait Ateş in his childhood. Nida has attended many national and international festivals and given various concerts. In 2003 he released his solo album "Ömür Bahçesi" (Kalan Müzik), which was produced by Erkan Oğur and Okan Murat Öztürk. In the same year Ateş performed for the album "Asker Tüklüleri ve Mapushane Türkleri" (Kalan Müzik). He currently lives and works in Istanbul.
