Quadro Turco

The founding members of the Quadro Turco: Nilay Karaduman Yağan (violin), Mehmet Efdal Altun (viola), Erman İmayhan (cello) and İris Şentürker (Piano) established the Quadro Turco Chamber Orchestra in 2006. They are all academicians and each have solo careers as well as contributing their virtuosity to the chamber orchestra. The main purpose of establishment of Quadro Turco is:

1. To spread classical music in Turkey, especially for young generation.
2. To encourage Turkish contemporary composers to contribute their works into the international repertoires for chamber orchestra.
3. To be able to present music to wide range of audience performing works in the different configuration when it is held the concert.
4. To spread classical music pieces to wide range of audience by recording them on CD.
5. To introduce Turkey to the international platform by participating in international festivals.
