Suat Suna was born in Istanbul in 1975. His father Mehmet Sait Suna was a violin master, and Suat began learning to play the violin at the age of four. While studying at Saint Benoit French High School, he had his musical education at the Violin Department of the State Conservatory of Istanbul University. He graduated from the Department of Communication at Maltepe University and graduated in 2002.

Suna started his musical career when he was a high school student. He attended many musical competitions and received a first place many times. He got an offer from a musical company and released his first album "Ansızım Çektin Gittin" in 1993. Since then Suna has composed more than 150 songs and released 12 albums such as “Sözüne Kanmam” (1993) “Hasret Feneleri” (1995), “Rüyam ve Sen” (1996), “Yapamam Sensiz” (1999), “Yolun Açık Olsun” (1999),  “Sana Haksızlık Ettim” (2000), “Su Damlası” (2002), “Leyla” (2003), “ON” (2006) and “Aşkın Adı” (2009). He has given many concerts all over in Turkey. Suna has also worked as an arranger as well as musician for other renowned musicians including Kayahan, Işın Karaca, Aşkın Nur Yengi, Fatih Erkoç, Hülya Avşar, Asya, Yıldız Tilbe, and Nalan. Besides being a musician, Suna is a writer. He published a novel entitled "İhanet" (Alfa publications) in 2015. Suna currently continues his work in Istanbul.
