Ozan Musluoğlu was born in Germany in 1977. He started playing guitar when he was 16 years old. In 2000, he entered the Music Department at Bilgi University and studied contrabass with Volkan Hürsever, James Lewis and Kürşat Ant. In 2001, Musluoğlu founded the E.G.O trio with Erhan Seçkin and Genco Arı. After graduating from Bilgi University, Musluoğlu has performed with Kerem Görsev, Vanessa Rubin, Danny Grisset, Dena Derose, Allan Harris, Tuna Ötenel, Imer Demirer, Donovan Mixon and Neşet Ruacan. Musluoğlu has also attended workshops with famous bass artists such as Marc Johnson, David Friesen, Dominique Lemerle and Robert Balzar. Musluoğlu has participated in many jam sessions with famous musicians including Marcus Miller, Roy Hargroove, Willy Jones, Eric Reed, Erik Smith, Katy Roberts, Leslie Harrison, Saslia Laroo and Bernard Maury.

Between 2003 and 2008, Musluoğlu gave many concerts with Athena group in Turkey and abroad. In 2004, he attended in the Eurovision contest as a member of Athena group, and received 4th prize. Since 2001, he has participated in many jazz festivals in Turkey and foreign countries. Musluoğlu released solo album “Coincidence” in 2008.
