Zafer Algöz was born in Kars in 1961. In 1975, he attended an acting class and studied about theater. In 1980, he pursued his study at the Theater Department of Ankara State Conservatory and graduated in 1985. In the same year, he started working as an actor at the Bursa State Theatre. In 1989, Algöz was appointed to the Istanbul State Theatre. He has also performed in many films and TV dramas such as “Salkım Hanımın Taneleri” (1999), A.R.O.G. (2008), and “Yahşi Batı” (2010). In 2010, he received “Best Comedy Actor” in the 10th Lions Theatre Awards.
