Vehbi Koca is a Documentary and Fine Art photographer based in London. After finishing London College of Printing in 1992, he studied photography and Multimedia at University of Westminster between 1992 and 1996. He also went to Southwark College between 1993 and 1994 to study Audio-visual Design and Communication. He completed his master’s degree in Photography and Cinema at his alma mater and completed in 2000.  Koca has worked as a freelance photographer for various picture stock agencies. In 2004, he received Millennium Awards from the Millennium Commission of Great Britain for his documentary project “Distant Countries”.

Koca worked as a curator for a photographic project entitled “City: Chaos and Charm” in The First Istanbul International Biennial of Photography, which was organized by IFSAK. His works have been exhibited extensively in England, Turkey, USA and N. Ireland. Koca is a member of Royal Photography Society, National Film Theatre, and National Union of Journalists (NUJ).
