İlteriş Tezer

İlteriş Tezer was born in Istanbul in 1943. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Middle East Technical University. He started taking photographs in 1957. Tezer created a darkroom in 1970 and took photographs of architecture, landscapes and his family. In 1985 he became a member of IFSAK (the Society of Istanbul Amateur Photography and Cinema) and participated in many national and international photography competitions and received various awards. In 1990 Tezer founded a workshop of black-and-white photography at IFSAK with Aclan Uraz. Since then Tezer has been continuing to give a workshop of black-and-white photography at IFSAK.
