Göksin Carey

Göksin Carey is a self-taught artist who loves nature and animals, especially horses. She is an associate member of National Sculptor Society NSS and was certified as an Equine Sculptor through American Academy of Equine Art, Kentucky in 2009. Besides sculptures, Carey loves to take nature photographs, and produces short documentary films on horses. Currently, she is producing a documentary on wild horses and abandoned horses. Carey has won many awards for her pictures. She also received an award for her local Cable TV program “Turkish-American Hour”, in which she has served as the host since 2004. In 2011, her sculptures will be displayed at several galleries in the United States.
