Burcu Aksoy was born in Istanbul in 1970. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1987. She has participated in many group exhibitions. Her works can be seen in national and international collections including Istanbul Modern Museum. Aksoy had her first solo exhibition "00:00" at the Sanatorium Gallery in Istanbul in 2013. She currently works in Istanbul.
