Ahmet Kuzik was born in Istanbul in 1952. He graduated from the Faculty of Public Finance and Accounting at the Istanbul Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. He started in photography when he was a university student. Kuzik and his three friends founded a group (GİFA), and had two exhibitions in 1980 and 1981. After 1985, he started working at his own studio as a professional photographer. He has participated in over 50 national and international exhibitions, and had many slide shows of his works.
His photographs have been published in many books, magazines, encyclopedias, and calendars. His translations on photography have also been published in many magazines such as "Yeni Fotoğraf", "Varlık", and "İFSAK Fotoğraf-Sinema". Kuzik has won several prizes and honorable mentions. He visualized the book "Mediterranean Turkey" (1986). He is a member of FOTOGEN.
