Prof. Erol Özden

Erol Özden was born in Samsun in 1943. He graduated from the Painting-Work Department at Ankara Gazi University in 1964. He then taught painting at several middle schools until 1977. In 1978 he was appointed to the Istanbul Atatürk Institute for Education. In 1982 Özden began working as a tutor at the Painting-Work Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University. He completed his doctoral degree, proficiency in art, at Marmara University in 1987. Özden became an Associate Professor in 1990 and a Professor in Graphic Design in 1998. In 1998-2010 Prof. Özden served as Chair and Dean in the Department of Education of Fine Arts at Abant İzzet Baysal University. He has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Prof. Özden has received many awards for his work.
