Aslı Torcu

Aslı Torcu was born in Konya in 1981. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2004. She then went to France to pursue her study, and studied at Université Marc Bloch in Strasbourg (2006) and Université Paris VIII in Paris (2007). Torcu completed her master’s degree at the Department of Plastic Arts of Université Paris VIII in 2010. She participated in group exhibitions such as “Genç Yeni Farklı” and “Contemporary Istanbul’10” in 2010. Currently, she lives and works in Paris.
