Formally educated as an Industrial Engineer, Ayşen Savcı carried out a professional work life including several executive roles both in Turkey and Sweden as well as diplomatic missions. After many years of professional work life, she joined a glass artists’ collective and started to work on artistic techniques on enameling and glass forming. Savcı attended several workshops with both Turkish and international prominent artists to learn different techniques for kiln forming glass as well as sand casting. Meanwhile she continues painting in order to develop further and diversify her artistic capabilities.

Besides realizing several solo exhibitions and participating in group exhibitions, Savcı took part in the 6th International EGEART Art Days in December 2015 and Art Ankara Contemporary Art Fair in March 2016. Her work can be seen in private collections in Istanbul, Milano, London, Athens, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Sydney and New York. She is a member of the advisory board of the “Independent Women Directors” project, initiated by Sabancı University in order to facilitate the existence and role of women in corporate boardrooms. Ayşen Savcı currently continues to create kiln casted glass sculptures at her own studio "Studio Volcano" in Istanbul.
