Arslan Eroğlu

Arslan Eroğlu was born in Dağköy village in Samsun in 1955. He studied at Ondokuz Mayıs High School in Samsun. He began painting while studying at a secondary school and was primarily self-taught. In 1973, Eroğlu entered the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts and studied painting. After graduating from the university in 1981, he worked as a fair decorator and illustrator. From 1990 to 1997, Eroğlu taught drawing, design and narrative techniques at the Faculty of Architecture of Mimar Sinan University. He has held several solo exhibitions in Turkey. Eroğlu currently lives and works in Istanbul.
