Alper Bıçaklıoğlu was born in Sakayra in 1982. He studied at the Department of Textile and Fashion Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylül University. Between 2000 and 2007, he worked as an assistant of Ozan Ünal at the Workshop Pi Design Art Sculpture Studio in Izmir. Bıçaklıoğlu then worked as an assistant designer of Yasemin Aslan Bakiri at the Istanbul Camhane between 2007 and 2009. In 2010, Bıçaklıoğlu founded A7 Art & Design. He has had three solo exhibitions, and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 2012, he participated in the exhibition "Bir/One" at the Armaggan Art & Design Gallery in Istanbul. Currently, Bıçaklıoğlu lives and works in Izmir.
