Hasan Eryaz

Hasan Eryaz was born in Soğucak Village in the district of İskilip in Çorum in 1985.  After finishing primary school, he began making wood carving works like his father. He carves traditional motifs on wood and makes wooden decorative works with his brother, Hüseyin at his father’s workshop. Eryaz and his father influence new craftsmen into making similar works in the same region. Eryaz is pleased to spread this art to a new generation.
