Feridun Fikret Ergin

Feridun Fikret Ergin was born in Şanlıurfa in 1953. He finished primary, middle and high school in Şanlıurfa and became a teacher. Wood carving was his father’s profession. Ergin learned how to carve wood from his father in his childhood and became a master craftsman by way of experience. After retiring from teaching for 26 years, Ergin continues to carve wood at his own workshop.
