Tuğrul Emre Feyzoğlu

Tuğrul Emre Feyzoğlu was born in Ankara in 1971. He graduated from the Department of Ceramics in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University in 1995. He received his master’s degree in 1998 and his efficient art doctorate in 2004. In 1997 he founded his own art workshop. He taught ceramics at the Ankara Atatürk Cultural Center between 1997 and 2000. He has served as a ceramic tutor at the Department of Ceramics at his alma mater. He has participated in many group exhibitions and had private exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. In 1999 and 2001 Feyzoğlu received an award of merit from the State Ceramic competition. He received a scholarship from Hungarian Government and had an opportunity to work in the Kecskemet International Ceramic Studio between 2000 and 2002. Feyzoğlu has organized and participated in many international activities. In 2007 he was awarded as the artist of the year by the Art Institution.
