Tuğba Ülker was born in 1971. She graduated from the Department of Industrial Design in the Faculty of Architecture at Middle East Technical University in 1993. In 1993, she started making ceramics and founded “Çömlekçi Art Design” with İpek Altay, Semra Ener, Pınar Öncel, and Ülker’s sister Funda Özkan. Since 1997, Ülker has continued her ceramic work at “Atölye Çamurdan”. Since 2000, she has taught ceramics at the Faculty of Architecture of Middle East Technical University. She has participated in many group exhibitions and contests in Turkey. In 2009, Ülker had the exhibition “Seyr 2009 Ceramic Show” with Funda Özkan at Istanbul Gallery G-art. The entirety of the proceeds of the gallery was donated to Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV).
