Tuba Önder Demircioğlu

Tuba Önder Demircioğlu was born in Eskişehir in 1969. She graduated from the Department of Ceramics and Glass in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University in 1991. She obtained her Master′s degree (1993) and completed doctoral degree, proficiency in art (1998), at Marmara University. While studying, she worked as an intern in Gorbon Art in 1989. In 1987-1990 she worked on ceramic forms and design with Atilla Galatalı and Filiz Özgüven Galatalı. Demircioğlu currently organizes art workshops and seminars and teaches ceramics at her own atelier. Since 1987 she has held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey. She has received several awards for her works. Demircioğlu is a member of the Turkish Ceramic Association and of the advisory committee of the International Knidos Culture and Art Academy.
