Serap Alıcıoğlu Akışık

Serap Alıcıoğlu Akışık was born in Antalya in 1965. After graduating from the Department of Metallurgy Engineering at Middle East Technical University, she worked in the sector of steel pipes for 14 years. She learned how to make ceramic works from Nalan Danabaş Tuncer and Türkan Karali. Akışık decided to concentrate on ceramic works, and founded her workshop. She has participated in many group exhibitions. Currently, Akışık teaches ceramics at Atölye Silis.
