Kemal Murat Özer

Kemal Murat Özer was born in Karşıyaka in Izmir in 1965. In 1989 he graduated from the Economy Department in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Science of Marmara University. He started making ceramic in 1991. In 1996, he won the third prize for his work (with his group) at the Mosaic Design Competition which was held by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the Martyr Monument in Çanakkale. In 1997, he participated in the Tur-Art Competition and won the mansion prize. In 1998, he received a big prize in the Ceramic Vase Competition which was organized by Turkish Ceramic Association. Since 1998, at his own workshop, he has made artistic boutique works: panels and special designed objects with using porcelains.
