Assistant Professor İrfan Aydın was born in Istanbul in 1958. He graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1985. He completed his master′s degree and doctoral degree, proficiency in arts, at his alma mater. In 1985, he began working as a research assistant at his alma mater. Aydın has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. His works can be seen in some national and international collections including Resen Modern Ceramics Museum (Resen) and Lesbos Mandamados Municipality Art Center (Lesbos). Aydın has also participated in many symposiums and conferences. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Mimar Sinan University.
