İlgi Adalan

İlgi Adalan was born in Bursa in 1936. He graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts in 1959. After working at "Cep" and "Arena" Theatres for a while, he taught painting for 5 years. In 1960 Adalan started working at Gorbon ceramic factory. His interest then turned toward making ceramics. Since 1969 Adalah has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 1981 he received a bronze medal in the 3rd Istanbul Art Festival, New Trends Exhibition. Adalan currently continues his work in Istanbul.
