Hüseyin Gülegül

Hüseyin Gülegül was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1971. After finishing primary school, he began making Aba weavings as an apprentice under his father. He is the weaver of Aba weavings which belong to the region of Gaziantep, Kilis, Hatay, Osmaniye and Kahramanmaraş. He weaves bags, bed covers and table clothes with the design of Aba weavings. He is a tutor of Aba and kilim weavings at the Kahramanmaraş Municipality, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Cultural Center.
