Art Profile :

Emine Karadayı was born in a nomad tent in the district of Günar in 1965. She learned Sarıkeçili Nomad weaving from her mother. Since then, she has continued weaving. In 2009, Karadayı received “Turkey’s Living Human Treasures 2010 Awards” from UNESCO.
