Rabia Figen Günay Esmeray

Figen Günay Esmeray finished the Department of Handicrafts at Vocational High School. She worked at the section of handicrafts and cultural goods of DÖSİM, which belongs to Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism for 5 years. She researched Turkish ethnographic materials. With her knowledge, Esmeray designs and makes traditional art of under glass (camaltı) and jewelry at her workshop, which she founded in Samanpazarı in 1992. She also restores antique textiles and embroideries, and introduces and sells them.
