Atike Şermin Tan

Atike Şermin Tan was born in Izmir in 1935. She has been making folk dolls since 1964. She won third place at a competition, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the big prize at the Tur- Art ′94. She has participated in many group exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad: England, USA, Japan and Italy. Her works can be seen in folklore museums and private collections.
