F. Alev Huri

Alev Huri finished İsmetpaşa Institution for Girls. For the past 16 years Huri served as a responsible director in the Turkish Handicrafts Introduction Society and made embroidery works. She organized classes to teach the technique of Turkish embroidery works for the Turkish-American association and the Turkish-Japanese Association. Huri has participated in many exhibitions and organized workshops both in Turkey and abroad. As of today she continues to make embroidery works and serves as a general secretary of Izmir Cultural Mutual Relief Association.
