Emel Ergün

Emel Ergün was born in Ankara in 1976. She graduated from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Business at Uludağ University in 1988. She continued her study and finished the Ceramic Department at the Iznik Vocational School, which belongs to Uludağ University, in 2001. After working in the Iznik Foundation for a year, Ergün founded her own workshop. She makes Iznik tiles, plates and ceramic jewelry and decorates them with Ottoman motifs by herself.
