Duriye Berna Gündüz

Duriye Berna Gündüz was born in Akçakale, Şanlıurfa in 1969. She finished the Construction Department of Şanlıurfa Vocational High School, belonging to Dicle University. In 1993 she graduated from the Ceramic and Glass Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University. In 1996 she started to work as a tutor at the Ceramic Department of Çan Vocational High School, belonging to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. In 2000 she completed her master’s degree at the Department of Painting Education in the Social Science Institute of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Since 2004 she has been teaching at the Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad since 1998.
