Cüneyt Özkaya

Cüneyt Özkaya was born in Izmir in 1974. He graduated from the Department of Ceramics and Glass in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 2000. He continued his master’s degree at the Department of Ceramics and Glass in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. During studying, he worked at many advertising agencies such as Ajans 85 (1992-2000) and MAC (2001-2008). In 1997, he received an award of merit from İRD Bumerak Advertising Competition. In the same year, Özkaya founded his first ceramic workshop. Since 2001, he has taught how to make ceramics at the Turkish Culture Service Foundation. Since 1998, Özkaya has participated in many group exhibitions and workshops in Turkey. In 2008, he participated in a group exhibition of Turkish Norwegian Ceramic Artists in Norway.
